Private Brass & Woodwind Lessons

4 private Brass & Woodwind lessons at your preferred day and time! We offer lessons on weekdays from 3:00 - 9:00 PM and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

After you purchase your pack of 4 private lessons, please call or text the office at 248-773-8364 or email at info@expressionsmusicacademy.com to book your lessons. Be sure to mention that you purchased 4 lessons through the Troy school system! Expressions Music Academy does not handle any payments. 

Your first lesson can be booked up to two weeks in advance, and your will have the same recurring day, time, and teacher for 4 consecutive weeks! Following your last lesson, you will have the opportunity to enroll for recurring lessons directly through Expressions Music Academy.

Please note that the date on the calendar below does not reflect any actual scheduling. All scheduling for your lessons must be completed through the Expressions office. 

Most of our students are preparing to be in or already in band or orchestra at school and have enrolled in private lessons with us to get them the help they need in their music, learn additional solo repertoire or audition for a higher chair in their band or orchestra. Our instructors have been extremely successful in helping students to reach their goals and succeed in their school ensemble.

BRASS & WOODWINDS FOR BEGINNERS - All of our brass and woodwinds instructors love working with beginners and have experience creating a structured program to help students master foundational aspects such as good posture, embouchure, breathing, intonation, tone production, note-reading, rhythm, theory, and more while ensuring that the student is having a positive experience and loving their lessons. Whether your child is preparing to start a wind instrument in school soon, or whether they just want to give one of these beautiful instruments a try, our instructors will help to create a strong foundation.

BRASS & WOODWINDS FOR EXPERIENCED STUDENTS - Whether students come to us with prior experience from their school orchestra or a private teacher, or whether they started with us as beginners and continued to advance, we know how to help them reach their next goal. Intermediate or advanced brass and woodwind students learn how to play more challenging music and fine-tune and polish their playing by mastering more advanced techniques and theoretical applications. Whether students want to learn a new style, prepare for a competition or audition, or just keep playing for fun, we have the skills and experience to get them there.

BRASS & WOODWINDS FOR ADULTS - Many of our adult brass and woodwinds students have always had the dream of playing one of these instruments, and many others played as a child and wish to pick their instrument back up again. Whether students have a busy career, are a busy parent, or are a retired adult, our instructors are delighted to help them learn and enjoy how to play their favorite songs and styles of music.
