Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid and Safe Home AloneHealth and Fitness for YouthCertified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid and Safe Home Alone Learn to be safe and responsible. Build confidence. Have a competitive edge over other babysitters. One-day class. Topics include first aid, when and how to call 911, CPR with manikin practice, choking, and more! Students will also learn how to be safe and responsible when home alone, including what to do if somebody comes to the door and the importance of not giving out personal information. Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion for Certified Babysitter/CPR/First Aid course by Live Safe Academy (valid for two years). To be certified students must participate in the entire course from beginning to end and successfully complete all skills, which requires full motor function of all four extremities. No refunds or credit with less than 24-hour notice. If you need a medical exception, email Live Safe Academy at info@LiveSafeAcademy.com before class. Bring a snack, pen and paper for notes is optional. No cell phone use during class except during breaks. Please note that students must arrive on time to be certified, so please arrive up to 10 minutes early. Parents, this class is for students who are independent and responsible enough to be responsible for the safety and well-being of younger children without adult supervision. An adult is required to check in students at the beginning of class. Drop off and pick up is in the same room as class. This class sometimes ends late, approximately 10 to 15 minutes. There are 2 separate options available based on the program your child is registered for. Pre-K and tuition or GSRP. Please select the option based on your child's program at time of registration. Registration opens on May 11th at 8am. Waitlist will begin once we reach capacity. Half Day sessions opens on June 1st. Explorers is available in the morning before school starts beginning at 7am and afterschool until 6pm. Schedules are required to be the same each week and require a 2 week written notice to change or cancel. We are unable to offer week to week changes. Full Day TuitionTroy School District PreschoolThe troy School District Preschool provides a World Class early-learning experience for all learners. Your child will receive a high-quality foundation of learning in a nurturing, literacy-rich environment directly aligned to our K-12 TSD Curriculum. troy Preschool teachers work with our Kindergarten staff to ensure that we are empowering our youngest students for a seamless transition into the TSD Kindergarten classroom. We offer full day or half day preschool classes. Our Full Day tuition is $10,300 and our Half Day tuition is $5850. Our tuition is paid in 10 equal monthly installments beginning August 1st and ending on May 1st. We also have Explorer's before and after school child care. The cost is $11 a day for the before (AM) and $16 a day for the after (PM). This requires a separate registration and registration fees apply. Tuition and Explorer rates are subject to change. Priority is given to troy School District families. Out of District registrations will be wait listed. We do offer Explorers on most half days of school. We will not offer Explorers on half days during the first and last week of school. The cost is $40 and requires a separate registration if you would like your child to attend.
