Give your child the chance to learn one of the world’s most popular sports! In partnership with Prime Sports Academy and Blackhawks Sports Club, this fun and active program introduces participants to the fundamentals of cricket, including batting, bowling, fielding, teamwork, and game strategy. Through engaging drills, skill-building activities, and friendly games, students will build confidence, stay active, and enjoy learning a sport played by millions around the globe. No experience necessary—all skill levels are welcome! Equipment: All equipment will be provided. Coaches will supply tennis balls (rather than hard cricket balls), batting equipment, and all materials needed for instruction and gameplay. Participants are welcome to bring their own cricket gear if they prefer, but it is not required.

Students will expand their creativity by learning how to write in cursive in this enjoyable and engaging class! Knowing how to write in cursive improves dexterity, increases motivation in writing and is fun! Students will receive a practice book and a new colored pen or fine-tipped marker each week to enjoy at home.$10 material fee to be paid to the instructor on the first day.

In this class, students will learn rules of the game, putting/driving techniques and sportsmanship through games and competitions! Disc golf is a fast-growing sport that everyone can play. After this class, students will be ready to enjoy both disc golf courses right here in Troy! This class fits beginning students as well as students with limited disc golf experience offering opportunities to learn new skills, practice and play with others. Equipment: Discs will be provided for use during class; however, students are welcome to bring and use their own discs if they prefer.

Back-to-school season is bursting with creativity! YR Artists will explore amazing characters, patterns, and vibrant color. Students will create a realistic Pizza drawing focusing on proportion and shading, and practice expressions with an adorable Baby Sloth. A portrait of Hiawatha will be the focus of YR art history lesson. We will draw Cartoons too! Each lesson perfectly blends imagination with art fundamentals. This youth dodgeball class gives participants an opportunity to play the popular sport in a safe, supervised environment. The program uses super soft balls and safety is stressed during game play. Each week, players learn new variations of games, keeping class fresh and kids having fun. Time limits are placed on all games so participants do not sit out too long and remain active throughout the class.

Every book is filled to the brim with learning activities, games, stickers and more and easily divides the program into 10 extremely structured levels, each of which builds off the previous. As your child completes each level, they will receive a special themed medal featuring the color and animal character from that level.By the time your child graduates from this impressive program (typically about 60 weeks), they will be able to identify and understand basic music symbols, read and clap rhythms from quarter note to sixteenth note, and read three octaves of notes on the grand staff, in addition to learning about instruments such as the piano, guitar, drums, violin, cello, clarinet, saxophone, and more!Once your child has discovered their passion and has mastered all 10 levels of achievement, they’ll have the opportunity to graduate effortlessly into our vocal or instrumental private lesson program, and even continue their level-based achievement journey through our Level Up Achievement Program.TABLE TIME, RUG TIME, STAGE TIME - Animal Adventures classes are split into 3 sections - Table, Rug and Stage. Table Time - The student and teacher work together to learn and practice new concepts using their Animal Adventures workbook as well as other resources such as a music staff whiteboard and flashcards. Rug Time - The student and teacher meet on the Animal Adventures music staff rug for practice in note reading, rhythm, and musical expression. This high energy segment of the class solidifies concepts for young students utilizing fun backyard-style games and silly role-reversal variations. Stage Time - This final segment of the class is spent in hands-on exploration, listening, and learning about one of ten instruments that will be covered. INSTRUMENTS - During each level of the program, students will learn about a new instrument, having the opportunity to listen to it, see it, touch it, and learn how it works! The instruments covered in our music classes for kids and toddlers are: Voice, Guitar, Violin, Flute, Drums, Saxophone, Cello, Trumpet, Clarinet, and Piano.PRIVATE LESSON PREPARATION - By the time students graduate from this program, they will be ready to begin private lessons in the instrument of their choice (as long as it is appropriate for their age).
